B.Tech CSE Sophomore building real software that ships. From async file conversion engines to gamified chore apps — I write code that actually does something.
Hey — I'm Sougandh K P, a B.Tech Computer Science sophomore at SRMIST, Chennai. I'm a full-stack developer who actually ships things. Not just side projects that live in a private repo forever — real, deployed, working software.
I'm a GSSoC 2026 contributor, a tech enthusiast, and an AI explorer. I've earned GitHub achievements including Pull Shark ×2, YOLO, Quickdraw, and Pair Extraordinaire. When I'm not coding, I'm probably thinking about the next thing to build.
Designed and built a full-stack file conversion platform supporting 68+ format conversions. Architected a FastAPI + Celery + Redis async pipeline, integrated LibreOffice headless, Gotenberg, Pandoc, Tesseract OCR. Deployed on Render + Vercel with full Docker orchestration. 132 commits in May 2026 alone.
Built a high-stakes competitive chore management system that gamifies household responsibilities. Features real-time analytics, skill distribution radar charts across 6 categories, roommate leaderboards, interactive calendar, and a reward polling system. Deployed on Vercel with Supabase.
Contributing to open source projects as part of GSSoC 2026. Earned GitHub achievements including Pull Shark ×2 for merged pull requests. First PR on GitHub was a Converto Conversion Engine Audit Report.
Universal file conversion platform — 68+ formats, zero file retention. FastAPI + Celery + Redis async pipeline. LibreOffice, Gotenberg, Pandoc, Tesseract OCR. Full Docker orchestration. Built and shipped solo.
Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS. Cyberpunk × Bold Tech aesthetic. Scanlines, neon glows, terminal UI, neo-brutalist buttons. No framework, no build step. Pure craft.
I'm always open to interesting projects, collaborations, or just a good conversation about tech. Whether you want to work together or just say hi — reach out.
